JUVEDERM®
OVERVIEW

Juvederm® is an FDA approved injectable bio-technologically engineered, non-immunogenic, stabilized hyaluronic acid gel facial filler. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occuring substance found in our bodies. HA helps provide volume and fullness to the skin. Juvederm®, a clear gel, provides a natural look when used to correct moderate wrinkles, folds and for augmenting cheeks and lips. The results are immediate for "camera ready" look. Juvederm® is injected below the surface of the skin. The product attracts and binds water molecules to assist in maintaining volume. Juvederm® is gradually broken down by your body's mechanisms until no further product remains.

There are multiple Juvederm® products utilized to treat cheek volume loss, moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds), lip lines and lip augmentation. Your injection provider will consult with you to determine the product best suited for you based on your concerns and a thorough assessment of your face.
