DERMAPLANE
Overview
Dermaplane is a method of manual exfoliation that consists of using a 10 gauge scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dull, dead skin cells in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. This procedure softens fine wrinkles, removes vellus hairs, and smooths the surface of the skin.

Maintenance is recommended every 4-6 weeks.

What to do prior to treatment
We request that you arrive with a clean, make-up free face to help minimize the risk of infection due to bacteria on the face.

Drink plenty of water to help your skin recover.

Avoid excess sun exposure a week before your appointment. Sun damage could compromise your skin and make the treatment painful.

Avoid Retin-A/Retinol exfoliators 3-5 days prior to treatment as this can thin your skin and compromise your treatment.

Please speak with your medical provider before stopping any medication.

If you have sunburn or active fever blisters/cold sores, treatment cannot be performed.

No injectables or chemical peels two weeks prior to treatment.
