CHEMICAL PEELS
OVERVIEW
Our peels are customized to your specific skin type and condition. Chemical Peels remove the top layers of skin to even skin tones and for a healthier, refreshed appearance. Our peels are multiple acid and mid-depth, giving you less sting and burn and more results. You can boost you peel with a brightener and a retinol, please consult with your Aesthetician to find the best solution for your skin type and skin tone.

What to do prior to treatment

We request that you arrive with a clean, make-up free face

Drink plenty of water to help your skin recover.

Avoid excess sun exposure a week before your appointment. Sun damage could compromise your skin and make the treatment painful.

Do not use Retin-A/Retinol 7 days prior to treatment as this can thin your skin and compromise your treatment.

Consult with your medical provider regarding pretreatment with an antiviral if you have a history of cold sores.

Treatment is not recommended if you have been on Accutane within the last 6 months.

If you are currently pregnant or nursing, you are not a suitable candidate for a chemical peel.

What to expect during treatment
Peel appointments usually last 20-30 minutes.

Multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired look. Please allow 4-6 weeks in between sessions to give your skin time to fully heal.

Most people don't feel any discomfort during the treatment. With our MelenAge Peel, you will leave with the peel solution on your skin and instructed to remove after 2 hours.
